As I understand it, it may take a few weeks for the parole board to reach its decision, but those involved seem optimistic.

Hi SC - congrats on getting the blog up, btw - I've only just learned who Leonard Peltier is a couple of weeks back, thanks to the song Crazy Life from the Empire Records soundtrack, by a band called Toad the Wet Sprocket.
ReplyDeleteI found the lyrics online and wondered who they could have been singing about and looked it up. A sad story, and - as a (hopefully) unbiased Australian - I can say that, to me, it looks like a case of law enforcement doing the wrong thing.
Fingers crossed the parole hearing goes well. And keep up the good work!
